Once we pick you up at your hotel between 
3:45am and 4:20am, we will head south towards the town of Cusicapata, two hours from Cusco. There we will enjoy a delicious breakfast to get our strength back.
Once energized, we will return to the bus and continue the excursion passing through picturesque villages and lagoons of an intense turquoise color. After two hours of travel, we will arrive at the village of Pitumarca, where we will begin an eight-kilometer hike to the archaeological site of Waqrapukara.
As soon as we arrive at the ruins of the ancient city built by the pre-Columbian civilization of the quinchas, we will visit the Intipunku. This “sun gate” will give us some clues about the history of the enclave, as well as the remains of its main square and its towers.
After visiting the amazing site of Waqrapukara we will return to Cusicapata for a delicious buffet lunch. After lunch, we will finally return to Cusco and we will leave you at Regocijo square at 6:00pm.
