After picking you up at your hotel in Cusco at the indicated time, we will go by bus to the Humantay Lake, located in the middle of the Andes Mountains.
After a two and a half hour drive, we will make the first stop of the tour in the village of Mollepata, located at almost 3000 meters above sea level. There we will enjoy an energetic breakfast. Is there a better way to start the day?
Later, we will continue touring the spectacular landscapes of this Peruvian region for an hour and a half until we reach the Soraypampa camp, at 3900 meters altitude. It will be here where we will start the trekking route to the Humantay Lake, a turquoise lake surrounded by imposing glaciers.
During the two-hour walk, we will ascend up to 4200 meters and enjoy the local flora and fauna. The effort will be worth it, because when we reach the lake you can admire a unique landscape.
After getting to know this natural environment, we will return to Soraypampa to get back on the bus. We will stop again in Mollepata to regain strength and satisfy our appetite with a buffet lunch. After lunch, we will start our way back to Cusco.
Finally, we will leave you at the Regocijo square after 13 hours of tour.
